We have a rally site after our march!
We will be meeting at 6th and Upas at 10am. We will depart promptly at 10:30 and march toward the County Administration Building at 1600 Pacific Highway. At the County Administration Building, we will have a rally for our rights that will begin at 1pm. Here’s a map of our starting and ending sites:
Remember that this is a peaceful march and rally. We are at the County Administration building because that is where marriage licenses are issued. We have a mayor and city council who have consistently supported marriage equality and we are grateful to them for that. We are also not targeting any religious or ethnic group. Our opposition wants our movement to appear divisive. We are going to reclaim and reframe the discussion. We are about gaining equal rights for all and ending bigotry and discrimination. This is a cause every proud American can support!

What an incredibly organized response – great work! Love to see everyone 2 blocks from the county building at the Little Italy Mercato farmers’ market (Date & India Streets) between the march and the rally.

Is there a way to indicate which streets the march is taking from 6th over to the city hall? Are you taking Broadway or Ash or zig zagging around?
